Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin Endorses VYZOV Prize

The Moscow City Hall will support the VYZOV National Prize for Future Technologies’ award ceremony. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin signed a decree to that effect following a meeting of the City Government Presidium.

The VYZOV Prize was established in 2023 to recognize fundamental breakthrough research and inventions that change the landscape of modern science and improve the quality of people’s lives. The award’s mission is to encourage younger generations and provide evident incentives for them to choose a career in science.

The 2025 awards will have a prize fund of 60 mln rubles, 12 mln in each of the five categories: Scientist of the Year, Best Engineering Solution, Breakthrough, Future and Discovery.
