Vyzov Foundation To Take Part In 2024 Future Technologies Forum

On February 13, the Future Technologies Forum, a major exhibition of cutting-edge scientific solutions and technologies, will open at the World Trade Center in Moscow.

The event is held within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology announced by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in 2022. This year, the Forum will focus on future technologies in medicine.

Russian and foreign scientists, as well as representatives of high-tech and innovative companies, research institutes, government agencies, relevant departments, and state corporations will discuss various issues related to genetics and biotechnologies, applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare, projects in regenerative medicine, and biological security.

During the second day of the Forum, on February 14, a panel session "Place of Popular Science in Science: How to Attract and Promote?" will take place in Conference Hall No. 6 at 12:00. The session will be attended by Leonid Shlyakhover, President of the Vyzov Foundation for the Development of Scientific and Cultural Relations. The panelists will discuss ways to communicate complex ideas in a clear and accessible way without losing the essence, methods for identifying reliable sources among the slew of information, and the development new formats that appeal to the younger audiences.

Other participants of the session include Denis Sekirinsky, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation; Stanislav Straupe, Head of the Quantum Computing at the Center for Quantum Technology at Moscow State University and Head of Atomic and Optical Quantum Computing scientific group at the Russian Quantum Center; Andrey Timonov, Acting Director of Communications Department at Rosatom State Corporation, and others.

Traditionally, the Future Technologies Forum will be accompanied by an exhibition of innovative projects. The Vyzov Foundation will have its information stands at the venue, allowing participants to learn more about its projects.
